ABout FOUNDER

​​LaToya McInnis is a San Francisco-based jewelry designer, fashion stylist, and vintage collector with nearly a decade of experience as a merchandiser for major commercial jewelry brands. Her deep roots in styling and curating vintage fashion—from the 1950s to the ’90s—inform her bold, culturally inspired designs.

Her brand, COCOACENTRIC, is a celebration of heritage, artistry, and Black femininity. Every piece is handcrafted with intention—where COCOA honors melanin-rich beauty and CENTRIC reminds us to stay rooted in self. It’s jewelry made to empower, express, and endure.
